Dr Samantha Solon-Biet

Samantha Solon-Biet is a NHMRC Early Career Fellow at the Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney. Using principles from nutritional ecology, her research employs a variety of nutritional interventions to explore the complex role diet plays in mediating various aspects of health, reproduction and ageing. A major focus of her research is to investigate how the balance of macronutrients influence the appetite, metabolism in late life health and the underlying nutrient signalling pathways that drive various behavioural and metabolic responses.
